Finally, a quality, made in the USA, reproduction of VW / porsche part number 021-119-187 "bearing shell". Those little plastic clips that hold the flap control bar on the late bus and 914 engines. These have long been discontinued by the factory and direly needed. These cradles hold the rod that controls the cooling. Many folks in the past removed these flaps thinking that they were going to allow the 914 engine to cool better buy actually it makes the engine run hotter! Now everyone has learned and are reinstalling the flaps. The engine requires two. These reproductions are made by modern, high tech 3D printing using a state of the art machine. These are not some cheap castings offered by others that are not even round, and contain air bubbles and saw marks. You have spent a lot of money on your engine, now get the best parts for the best cooling possible. These items also have a two year warranty against defects, cracking and splitting. These fit the 1.7,1.8 and 2.0 liter engines in the following vehicles:
Porshe 914 1970-1976
Porsche 912 1968-1969 and 1976 (but not the years in between)
VW Type IV 1968-1974
VW late bus 1972 -1983

$19.99 a pair + $3 shipping to the lower 48 states.

made in Ohio, USA.
Company Name - Awesome Powdercoat LLC

PS, I also offer brand new USA made, German style thermostats, cable, stat brackets and pulley - entire new flap sets coming soon!
