The ignition module has failed, the Mallort/MSD people tell me that it's either the wrong coil or a voltage spike. I'm using a 1.4 ohm coil, as directed by Mallory/MSD so a voltage spike seems to be the only remaining option. This is the second failure.

Does the voltage regulator play a part in this? Since it's probably intermittent, can I test for it or just replace it?
