Here are my parameters:

205/50 15 for front

215 or 225/15 for rear

Anyone have experience with Kumho Ecsta 711's. I know Z runs the 712's but they're not available in my size.

I'm looking in the 50-60.00 range of performance, price and longevity.

What's your "best buy"? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Try this place. They have them in the sizes you need and cheap.

If you could settle on the same tires in both front and rear, bridgestone has a sale on tires, up to 100 dollars off certain ones. Potenza s0-3s have 100 bucks off, I just picked up a set of potenza re750s with 50 bucks off. About 275 total with rebate including shipping.

That's a good price but, unfortunately I can't use the same size F&R. My wheels are 7 & 8".

My car came with Dunlop Sports that are about 150.00 ea. They are great street tires, but I need to put my performance dollars in my race tires (Victo Racers).

Any other suggestions?

Thanx

I may get luckier than that though... "I know a guy"

my Brother in law runs a tire shop in Odessa, I may see how much he'll charge me to ship them here...

Kumho 711 tires are:

Black
Round (mostly)
Inexpensive
Last a long time
Not very sticky

I ran a set of 235/45/17 & 255/40/17 on my M5 daily driver (they came on a set of wheels I purchased).

They worked fine. I have dedicated track tires so I'm not too worried about having the stickiest rubber on the market. I actually like being able to slide around easily on the street. With tires like Bridgestone S03's, by the time you reach the limit of adhesion, you are going way too fast on the street.
