blaster. so the mallory makes a direct application? i hate "making" plug wires. i'm sure putting m.c. fi on a 914 is an easier task mike. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

Sure, sure....you wanted an excuse to write: "Mueller's Build-your-own-CD-ignition" and "How to mill plug wires out of billet" (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/laugh.gif) |

i think you answered your own question (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) it seem the best choice is to make your own set....there might be another 4 cylinder or 8 cylinder application that works, but if it was that easy, they'd list it i would think....can you just go down to the store and open a few packages up...compare and measure..... |

I'm pretty sure he cannot use the Magnacore wires...MSD distributors have to use a specific style wire..... |

at aircooled.net a set of wires is pictured. Supermag with "AURORA" printed on them. tried a futile search with 0 results. anybody familiar with the manufacturer? i tried to call the outfit you recommended aaron. then i remembered YOU had a smooth transaction with the same firm, right? was that just a ploy to avoid the tire hold down (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) ? i've looked around locally, every place wants to sell me a set with 8 wires. i can't believe these companys stay in business. just tried aircooled, ring, ring... i can't imagine the email return is any faster. TRY to call mr gasket, parent to mallory, 3 menu changes, 3 different phone #s, none toll free, and a 20 minute wait time. f me to tears.

twins eh? we shall see.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) here was my scenario.... "youll have it at your door in a week. everything is in stock and will ship in a day or two..blah blah" 2.5 weeks later i call "hey, wheres my order?" "what did you order?" they say "plug wires, mallory diz..." "what mallory?" "unilite" "oh, we are out of those....." "well... wtf- you told me you had them!" "uh...." and then they wont sell me stuff because i cancelled the dizzy order, and then a dizzy shows up after i sourced it elsewhere..... and i ate shipping both ways..... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif) yes. im bitter too kevin. maybe we are twins.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beerchug.gif) |
