And a special Thank You to Glenn and his wife and family for opening their home and hosting such an awesome get together! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smiley_notworthy.gif) There were lots of memories shared. Some humble, some serious, some reflective. But most of all there were lots of laughs! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Thanks Redneck for hosting the toast! Thanks Joe Sharp for calling in and joining us from afar! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/jsharp.gif) My apologies for being late. But so many thanks for all the hugs, sympathies and conversations from all my So Cal buddies that I haven't seen in so long. And (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grouphug.gif) It was much needed and helped so very much. (sap) And lastly, Thank you Thank you Thank you to Ron's daughters Stephanie and Kelly for all the conversations and hugs! Your children are adorable and I hope the oldest ones will remember their grandpa. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wub.gif) Until we meet again....... I would like to add my thanks to Glenn and his wife for opening their beautiful home to everyone. There were a lot a folks there, telling Slits stories and reminiscing about their experiences with him. It seems everyone had a favorite Slits story and I'm sure they will be repeated over the years.

I'm so glad I attended. And I'm pretty damned sure that Ron was looking down and enjoying the party. All of the usual suspects were there. Elliot, thank you for driving all the way down for Ron's send off. That was a class act. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumb3d.gif) Therefor I shall tease you only half as much for the next month or so. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Melba; hang in there girl. Time actually does heal a broken Heart. Joe Sharp; it was good to hear your voice again as we chatted. Thank you for taking the time to join us, albeit a phone call. Especially, when you consider the time of nite. Sorry we kept you up so late. There was a missing link before your call. Thx again. Glenn; thanks for opening your home to all of us misfits. It was truly a memorable event. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I would also like to thank Glenn and his wife for sharing your beautiful house with us. I had a nice time hearing stories about Ron, visiting with his relatives and catching up with everyone. I only new Ron from the G&R swap meets and other events, but it was always fun chatting with him. He will definitely be missed. Thanks again for the invite!!
