Anyone out there neer any of these cars? I'm looking for something to drive the week I'm there for the WCC, then ship it home to Cleveland.

Now I have NO idea where in Cali these things are. Your friggin state is 5X bigger than mine...Are any of these even close to WCC?

North-Bay Area: http://www.craigslist.org/nby/car/68011388.html
San Jose: http://www.craigslist.com/nby/car/67967199.html (Is this guy here?)

Lafayette/Orinda/Moraga: http://www.craigslist.com/eby/car/67519664.html (a 1.6L???)

I'm still in the market if anyone has anything. I need something relatively solid, you know the drill. Has to run though.

The first one listed is shown in "North Bay", but the ad shows Cameron Park, which is in the foothills about 40min east of Sacramento.

And no, none of them are close to the WCC. They're all in or near the SF Bay Area, which is several hundred miles from where the WCC will take place. Not to sound like an asshole, but you have heard of maps, haven't you? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif)

If you want to find cars near the WCC, use the LA version of Craigslist, not the SF version.

Santa Barbara or LA or even Orange County would be your best bet. There are lots out there. Just be patient.

Yeah...real slow today.

I know how to use a map...but I didn't know who was close by to all of these. I have a map that tells me where all the cities are, but I DON'T have a map that has where everyone here lives.

I'm looking to spend under $2,500 on somehting...If anyone knows of anything, let me know. If not, I can bum rides while I'm out there, but I figured that if I was out there and there was a good deal somewhere...

the San Jose one is close to a bunch of us (not me right now), and is right in the middle of the starting point for the drive down...only problem is, I don't know if I'd feel comfortable driving it down to LA and then across a few states

The first one is out...that's just REAL far.

Second could be interesting...he says in the add that it's "ready for WCC events" Hmmm...

If I can't find anything that works out...so be it. I'm not too worried about it.
