where could I get some Silver Mettalic Z2V9?
I want to touch up a few areas on my teener. under the engine cover. I do have the add on that prevented water from getting in the engine bay.. I have removed that and Now I can see a few signs of paint peeling starting. my plan is to wire brush it and then clear coat it for now.... so it does not get any worse. on my 356 I have always used POR.. I know they have colors now and I know they have clear coat... but would love to have the original color. Z2V9.. any thoughts or comments or tips? 914 Luva |

The paint code on the jam tag is L96D for my silver 73'. Start with that code when you go paint shopping. Perhaps the z2v9 is just a superceeded number.

It appears that Z2V9 "Silver Metallic" is the color number, where as the color code is L96D

These guys will mix up any color you need. I've used them and have been totally satisfied.
http://www.apstowerpaint.com Just be careful if you go with the 2k stuff. It is isocyanate based and you should be spraying it with a full face fresh air respirator. Just a mask is not sufficient. |
