Hello all,

Well, awhile ago I posted about my car continuing to run after the key was shut off. I changed the ignition switch and all was well for awhile, until today.

Went out for lunch today in the '14, went to turn it off at the burger place and guess what? It continued to run. Went thru the drive thru...

Got back to the office, turned off the key and car continues to run. My coworker that went for a ride with me gets out and kind of closes the door hard and the car turns off! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/blink.gif) WTF!?

I get out and close the door and I see the gas gauge jump. I kind of thump the windshield frame and it jumps again...!!??

The car power is turning off and on without the key somewhere! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif)
I've got a major bad connection somewhere. Anyone have any ideas on where to look for this bugger before it powers up by itself and burns my car down?? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) I'll be disconnecting the battery while it's parked in the garage for awhile...

The starter is funtioning as normal. It's a 2.0 D-Jet with pertronics ignition. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Thanks for any direction.
