That's excellent, Dion (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Hopefully I'll get a chance to hear it later this summer.

Ok, back on track. Shout out to @TonyA for bringing the chassis to the shop.
A few days of fettling, engine mounted, wiring began, linkage etc.
Carbs were quite a challenge. To get to that sweet spot for “most” driving conditions.

A good buddy of mine Dave Tr. picked it up for me. Gave her a drink & brought back to the shop.

So more fiddling at the shop for carb adjustments and fixing tach signal plus timing.
Was able to take home. Runs like a banshee.
Well pleased. Now to get some details addressed. Wire wrapping and layout, fixing some
headlights that decided to work when they feel like it, plus the air hoses for heat.

Thanks a lot fellas! I really appreciate the compliments and good karma.
It’s definitely a different engine from prior previous year.
@mepstein , you should hear it screaming this afternoon when I stop down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Beautiful car and love the engine choice! Something about the smaller displacement motors that really compliment the spirit of these car, for me anyway.

Sweet!!

Dion,
So, your engine was a aluminum block someone put T or E pistons in, 30+ years ago?
Now it is a 2.4S+?
Engine sounds great. I am leaning also, so I have a few questions.

1 What compression?
2 what valve springs did you use to achieve 7K RPM?
3 Distributor advance?
4 85mm or 84mm pistons?
5 What camshaft?

Thanks,
Matt
