I'd read threads a while back where some of you adjust the intake & exhaust valves at .005. So, I tried it (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/dry.gif)
Din't make me a happy camper. The car had less power & ran crappy.

While under there I checked the valves clearance before making the adjustment. Found # 4 exhaust to be closed down to .003. (how do they work themselves down)?

All the rest were still at the 5 setting.
Anyway, I re did all of them to 6 intake & 8 exhaust & what a difference (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif) More power & better/smoother running.

Ain't gonna screw 'round wit da adjustment no mo (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smash.gif)
