Always liked the look! Had mine redone like that once in the sane color. Wore those out too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks for sharing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif) |

Nice, but you will have to get used to not having to peel yourself off the seat after a long hot drive!

Nice, but you will have to get used to not having to peel yourself off the seat after a long hot drive! At least they're cloth now, they used to by vinyl, see first picture! Think that was hot and sticky on a warm day? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) |

Looks great! I had mine done a couple weeks ago too. I want to do the same in my red car and was wondering if yours cost the same? Also, how long did it take? I paid about $130 for a yard and a half of the tartan material from SMS (AA is the same material), and I paid an upholstery shop $130 to do both seats. I had the online tutorial on doing it myself, but didn't have a sewing machine powerful enough to do the job right. The upholstry shop took a few weeks as he is a busy guy. Is that what you wanted to know? |

I would consider a UV protector on the plaid. I also use UV protectant on the cocomats, keeps everything bright. The first set of plaid seats we installed lost half the color in one week of intense sun.
