Well, I just had my 1975 Carrera repainted "Sepia Brown "after installing RSR front and rear composite bumpers and a front mounted oil cooler. Not my favorite color, but the cars original factory color. I am thinking of painting the fuchs Sepia brown as well and leaving the lips polished. Gold or black Carrera script? What would you do? Thanks.

My opinions:

Gold script. Black wheels.

I'm with DD on this one. The black wheels look "sinister" when done correctly.

Nice car.

What are they doing to the 996 vert on the lift ?

Thanks, it is a low mileage near original Carrera. The 996 is having a service done while the VW Bus on the left just had a 3.2 installed.

I had an Irish Green 75 Carrera. It came from the factory, with the gold Carrera stripe, and matching wheel color to stripe. It look very cool. I later changed to black, but only because I removed the Carrera logo.

I'd go for the gold stripes and gold wheels with the lips polished. Carreras are too cool. I've got a 74 RS that has a long way to go.
