There are 2 keys for this car I just picked up. A red key which was in the ignition, that was on the floor and a black key which I found in the ashtray. They are very different looking. The black key seems to work. What is the red key for?

while we're on the subject of keys, does anyone have a recommendation of where to have replacement or extra keys made?

I buy OEM blanks on Amazon and have a local locksmith shop cut them for me. You can use inexpensive blanks instead. A good locksmith will have them: P-05 I measure the ten key cuts (1,2,3,4) and write them down to be entered in a digital cutter. This makes a better key than duplicating a worn original. |
