Trying to figure out the guts of my 2.0 so that I can have my carbs tuned for the engine. How do I identify this, is this the bolt on web cam gear, or is it stock, and is the number on the cam significant?

Advancing the cam will add more low end power, while retarding the cam will add power in the upper rpm range. Each does this at the cost of the other.
Advancing or retarding the cam also shifts the powerband up or down the rpm range. The cam could be any brand with just a Dial-in Cam gear. |
