Oh my goodness, Mr C. I just installed some of these risers in a 71, they don't look like that. You're not going to want to get out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

We're still waiting for the new seat belt pass-through fittings but it's coming along.

The dash: ashtray delete fiberglass top and early car (no side vents) lower covered in black leather. Dash face with all switch gear, heater control and glove box deleted in dark gray leather with a basket weave embossing. Speedster Porsche script as the jewelery.

Turns out the original seat belt pass throughs cracked. Thankfully, GTS Classics offers new, better versions. The bad news is that they aren't exactly the same size so the seat had to be pulled apart to mod the pass through opening in the frame. A couple hours later, all is well. But, man. "It's always something."

Tom (the upholstery guy) sent me this in-process pic that he described as "Half way, OK, maybe a third of the way through the mud wrestling process of getting the seat cover on..."
I greatly appreciate the behind the scene look at how this stuff comes together.

Amazing, this is going to be one of those cars that looks great as a whole, but when you stop and start looking at the details you realize it's more than just a pretty face. This whole thing is purpose built and not just a "show car". You're a madman Chris.

Seat heat or lumbar support perhaps...the wiring lead?
Looking perfect for the car
