Hi all,
I recently purchased a 73 914 that was detailed in this thread: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...=263853&hl= It was originally a 1.7L but the motor was upgrade to a 2.0 l (which was an upgraded 1.8L). The body is in very good condition but there is some evidence of accident repair on the rear fenders and a total Raveena green repaint in the past (its factory color). The PO purchased the car and wanted to convert it to GT Rat Rod copy. He cut the original fenders and screwed on fiberglass flares. The original Raveena paint color was painted over by a flat black rattle can paint. It does have real 911 Fuchs installed with bolt on 5 stud adapters. My plan is to restore it to its original color and style (narrow fenders). Here are some pictures of from the previous two owners and how it looks currently. I'll be posting updates here and asking for advise as my journey progresses. |
