The pins are almost impossible to get a grip on. markB says they can be pushed through per the Rekeying Thread but I don't feel them moving yet.
Right now I'm soaking the pin portion in PB Blaster.

Anyone figure out a better way to remove them ??

They only push thru if the key is out. Try a small pair of nippers or wire cutters to pull on them.

I have the key out; I don't have a small enough tool to grab the pin. There's minimal clearance around the pin and my smallest needle nose pliers won't let me grip the pins edge....... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I use a small drift pin punch and drive them both out from one side.

Depends on the hole. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
This one yes. Big enough to get solid impact on the pin, small enough to clear the chamber it's pressed in.

The drift did the trick- thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I assume the original roll pins can be reused ?
