As much as I like watching paint dry, I stepped away from that for a bit to grab something from the garage. I stumbled across a couple LED strips from a defunct Robern med cabinet and got to thinking...

I'd run them on the running light circuit. They put out a decent amount of light.

What say ye?

The concours guys are not putting led's on their cars and asking for opinions. But if they want to, so be it. It's their car.

They might be a bit low there to help much with your visibility.

BTW - I like your body color treatment of the BUB there. It takes away the big black lump hex of color 914s (black 914s just blend in nicely with the BUB).

BUBs? Do you mean tits? - No, those aren't body color. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) When I hear BUBs (or BBBB) I think of the 75-76 bigass heavy pigs. Please edumacate me if I'm wrong.

Anyway... Looks like a pretty cool and stealthy way to add some light.

Those aren't BUBs, they're the stock-type body colored metal bumpers from a 70-72 914. They do, however, have the smaller "bumper tits" that were used on the 75-76 BUB-equipped cars, so I can see how you got that impression.
