I'd like narrower seats with more upper torso support—I've got a fairly narrow torso—so I'm ready to move my GTS Classics Le Mans seats to someone who wants more hip/lower side support than the stock seats provide without feeling "pinched" up top. These are the GTS Classics seats designed for the 914, and they do work with the factory back pad.

The seat model is depicted here:
http://www.classiccarseats.com/lemans5202.php

I custom-ordered the seats with:
1. Vinyl bolsters with late "rectangular" basketweave centers.
2. Basketweave vinyl on the side panels of the lower seat cushion, a subtle detail I fell in love with on a 908/2 spyder seat.
3. Seat heaters from CAMP 914; the elements were shipped to Italy for installation at the time the seats were built.

After I got the seats, I didn't like how puffy the 914-style headrests looked, so I had a professional upholstery shop "reduce" and recontour them to more closely match the scale of the stock headrests. The seats are very low miles, and largely as new—if not as new. No rips, tears, scratches, etc. I'd prefer a local trade so we can both see what we're getting, but am willing to ship these so long as the traded seats are shipped in boxes I can use for these.

Looking for Konig or Scheel seats, but open to other period ideas. Whaddya got?

I've seen these in person. I would call them "as new."

If you can't work a trade Pete, I'm still interested.

Thanks Rob!

Bandwidth is such that only thing I've got time for is a straight swap. MIGHT consider a really (!) nice set of stock seats w/the right basketweave (or leather or cloth centers) plus fair cash in trade, as my car sits a lot right now anyway and the Scheels I'm seeing so far look tired. I may just have another pair of seats custom made at some point, though that's a whole nuther project. I could at least run the stockers in the meantime.

Just so happens, I have a set of stock seats being recovered right now. They're late and I'm doing late vinyl. But they'll be new when they're done in a week or two. I'll shoot a bunch of pics. My youngest is doing an internship in an upholstery shop. His boss is teaching him on my seats. He's the guy all the SNR PCA guys use. Very knowledgeable.

Don't worry, I won't be hurt if they aren't what you were looking for... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
