UPDATE: There was not enough interest in a screen printed order and inkjet transfer didn't have the quality or price to make it worth wile, so there will no longer be a T-shirt order. Posters and prints are still available.

Hi all, I've got a new design nearing completion. This will be available on posters and t-shirts.

The subject is a 914-6 GT, artwork done in a style most known for comic books like Midnight Wangan and InitialD.

Pre-Orders started now, the final design may change slightly (i.e. I will be adding a subtle license plate)

All prices include shipping within the US 48 states. Contact me for international orders.

Posters:
6.75" x 10.25" (comic book sized) - $20
11" x 17" - $30
24" x 36" - $50

T-shirts:
all sizes - $25

T-shirts will be pre-ordered, I'd like to have around 20 orders before I submit the printing job. That's 20 paid orders. The shirt itself will be black, and either American Apparel or Next Level, both high quality shirts with a modern fit but not too tight. They will be pre-shrunk and/or a blend that resists shrinkage.

Poster orders will be going out quicker, first order should be going out early next week.

I've made some changes based on some thoughts some members had and some obvious errors.

Changes:
-gauge needles are no longer orange. I decided to keep this all black and white.
-the car was having an identity crisis with US spec front signals, euro spec rear lenses, and no badges. I've updated the rear signals and added a badge and rear trunk button.
-also added a license plate, I didn't go with some cheeky quip, left it pretty normal, it's actually the old plate number of my current car
-officially, the car will be a 914-6 with flares added, because I didn't want the additional GT stuff (i.e. trunk tie downs, GT engine lid, etc)
-window colors have been corrected
-and I added a little detail here and there.

For the shirts I am going to pursue non-screen printed versions, I'll get a couple test shirts made to gauge quality and price. But the goal is to get away from the minimum order needed for screen printed shirts. This also means that I can do multiple styles. As of now I'd do one of my original placement, and another that has the whole comic on the back, and just a small car on the upper front off to the side.

Many of you might notice that the PORSCHE text is absent, I've been going back and fourth on this aspect. On one hand, I love that layout of text on the engine lid. On the other, I'm trying to avoid anything that could be considered copyright infringement. Recently some of my artwork was reported as such on my print shop website, merely because the titles of the pieces included the words Audi on one and BMW on the other. It's a little maddening.

Anyway, that's the update. I'll be getting some test prints today for the poster, and shirt information will follow down the line.

Thought I should update, the test prints were no good, ended up going to another printer and those weren't acceptable either. Purchased my own large format printer but it's getting refurbished, so prints for this are delayed.

Haven't had much time to set up a few different t-shirt designs, been swamped in the garage, so this whole project is on the back burner for now.

Another update. Finished refurbishing the large format printer I bought but was still not impressed by print quality. So I sold it and bought another printer, this time brand new with some really nice paper, so posters are back on track.

Absolutely overjoyed with the quality this thing is putting out.

(IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/c2.staticflickr.com-19709-1488480144.1.jpg)

Different printer means different sizes and prices

Posters:
6.75" x 10.25" (comic book sized) - $15
11" x 17" - $20
13" x 19" - $30

larger sizes available at society6.com/autoillustrated

All prices include shipping within the US 48 states is a durable tube.

T-shirts are set as well, same stipulations as before, looking for 15-20 pre-orders for screen printing. $25 shipped in the US 48.

Shipping outside of the US is available, PM me with your location for an accurate quote.

Was hoping to have them screened but it's not looking like we'll have enough orders to do it. Going to give it another week or so and weigh the options.

Update: Sorry guys there just wasn't enough interest to send in an order. The payments that had been made have now been refunded. Already taking a loss on my 914 Search and Rescue shirts and can't do it again on these.

I will be continuing to put out some new design ideas, maybe something different will get some more interest.

Printed artwork is still available now that I can print very high quality posters at home. PM me for details.
