Tried searching but have a question. Did all 914s come with a tow hook? I remember reading somewhere that mid 73/74 the tow hook no longer came with the car.
my car is very original (the tool kit still has the rubber band on it), but no tow hook. 1974 vin 4742906081, federal compliance sticker has a 10/73 date. For originality, should I have a hook?

From what I've seen over the years, all 914's including the 914-6 came from the factory with a towing eye in the tool kit.

I have a '74 also manufactured in 10/73 and it did come with the standard Tow Hook in the tool kit.
