What is the consensus on running front and rear dust shields?? I don't currently have fronts for my 3.5 inch 911 struts nor are my back s worth restoring.. I am just not sure I need to put those in my to buy list???

Since your are asking, no they should not be on your "to buy list."
What is on your list now? |

So Bob Russo (962 mechanic at our shop) said it's not a big deal. They will help keep water off your brakes when you go through a puddle so be careful during rain. If you want a set, I'll dig some up.

I don't bother with them on either car, but then they rarely get caught in the rain, especially in Scottsdale!!
(and I'm surely not worried about a concours judge!!) |

None on the rear; not really needed since the car spends most of the time in the garage. Sometimes on jack stands, sometimes not. It does rain in Oregon but the car is mostly a "fair weather type".
911 carrera brakes all four corners. |
