What is the consensus on running front and rear dust shields?? I don't currently have fronts for my 3.5 inch 911 struts nor are my back s worth restoring.. I am just not sure I need to put those in my to buy list???

Since your are asking, no they should not be on your "to buy list."
What is on your list now?

So Bob Russo (962 mechanic at our shop) said it's not a big deal. They will help keep water off your brakes when you go through a puddle so be careful during rain. If you want a set, I'll dig some up.

I don't bother with them on either car, but then they rarely get caught in the rain, especially in Scottsdale!!
(and I'm surely not worried about a concours judge!!)

None on the rear; not really needed since the car spends most of the time in the garage. Sometimes on jack stands, sometimes not. It does rain in Oregon but the car is mostly a "fair weather type".

911 carrera brakes all four corners.

Would like some help...

What color are the brake dust shields? Black? Satin? Silver?

Thanks

Mine are black. These are the originals on my '73. More of a gloss black
