My buddy had the classic RS style panels from AppBiz in his 964 and they were great. I'm considering them for my 73, mostly for looks but it would give my fat a55 about 4 more inches to spread my knees. Anyone got anything to say about them?

The only thing I can say is their website sucks. Do they offer 914 panels?

I have them on my '70 and they are excellent fit and finish. No regrets.

The eBay store is pretty good.

Does 914Rubber make RS panels?

Yes, I recently purchased and installed them. Great quality and I like the fact that the door handle bolts to the door.

I def prefer the look/style of the 911 RS style panel over the 914Rubber or the GT style ones you posted the link to.

Just a reminder, you do lose the ability to lock the car from inside. This wasn't a big deal to me though

I don't sell them as "RS panels" just the smooth vinyl. Mine have a tough fiberglass back that you can easily attach the strap through. I'm sure we could sew on up no problem for a few $ extra. Some have even put pull tabs or straps on them to allow you to open the door.

You can find them here

http://shop.914rubber.com/Porsche-914-fibe...ng-P914DPBW.htm

Just ask for no door handle hole so we will not cut it out. I can source the little handles if you guys want I'm sure they can't be to expensive.

Oh by the way put these on sale for the next month. About 1/2 what you would pay elsewhere.

Thanks guys (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
