I will need to reinstall smog pump pulley with bracket,but need to know if I have to remove fan ,insert the drive shaft coupler to it and then re- mount fan?there is not enough room to get the coupler in there with fan in place .help needed

The fan doesn't need to be removed, but the bolts holding the fan also hold the smog pulley. You may need to loosen or remove the rear tin.
