I'm still trying to decide what to do. My rear one isn't that bad chrome wise, but the supports are crusty and need blasted and painted. The front one has a dent.
I'm half tempted to sell them both at Hershey along with my three extra doors and other bits and go SS. |

Throw me in as another interested party, to help the numbers. My '70 got the black bumper treatment, so I'm definitely interested in chrome.

Didn't someone mention the Harrington SS bumpers didn't have the same exact look/finish as chrome? Might be something to consider for the CW crowd. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I'm not sure anyone can tell the difference between polished stainless and Chrome..?
The only issue at the time I bought my bumpers was that Harrington only made the later style rear bumper.. Not the hard edged ones for earlier care including the 6s. No idea if they make both versions now. Here is a picture of my car with the Harrington Rear bumper Installed. Car is still not together.. So this is the only picture I have now. I've posted it before. here is a link to the thread when I got them.. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...ainless+bumpers Anyone concerned about shipping from Vietnam.. Here is the Shipping tracking from DHL on mine. For what I would have to paid to get my original bumpers redone. This was a viable option for me. Not for everyone though.. |
