Before I tow the car to Home-depot and try each bolt in the store, I figure to ask the brain trust first.

Does anyone here know the size of the (4) bolts that hold the bottom part of the interior back-pad? Car is from 1972. They were missing when I purchased the car. Now I have reinforced the pressed-paper back-board with Fiberglass, it is almost ready to go back in.

Thanks in advance.

#8 screws
Not bolts
Make sure you have the 4 aluminum inserts otherwise it's not going to do any good screwing it to the firewall.

That explains why none of my machine screws fit.

Thanks

Ps: this must have been the shortest threads in a long time.
