God Bless JP! He will be missed.

In grad school, I did my capstone project on the Boeing Co. JP let me interview him and talk about labor and management. JP was like a lot of guys around here... smart, tough, and likable.

He will be missed.

Always enjoyed reading his matter of fact posts. I feel like I know him. Of the many 914'ers I've met along the way I will remember him and miss never meeting him. Wished I had. RIP

Very sorry to hear this. I only had a little interaction here in the Garage but his input was always accurate and appreciated. Sorry to see him go...

That sucks, I always liked JP's posts and he was quite helpful when I was planning my /6 engine build.

He did every bit of work on that car too including the paint and engine rebuild.

From the other thread, it started as this:

Attached Image

He had those HIGH boxes he put it on. How the f did he get it up there??? Always had sweet nicknames for it like "the shitbox" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . Did some serious autoX with that car. But when he won he'd post "got lucky again..." or "was the least sucky today..." etc. Very humble guy.

I always wondered how he got his car on those tall plywood jack-boxes too.
Very cool once they were on there though, it was like a car dolly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I realize it will happen to every one of us at some point, but still don't like hearing this (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad2.gif)

My condolences to his family and friends alike. Rest in Peace, JP ...
