Lets see if Mark can make them. My local fab shop could not do the tight bends. I would like to see them in stainless steel and maybe thicker. I have one clip that is twice ac thick. Not sure what it came from. Bruce |

Getting some material in should be able to get these bent up in the next 10 days or so, I will also have to temper these as they are spring steel. So add a few extra days for that. Say 3 weeks?

These are being blanked and the tooling will be ready in about 5 days. I can have unfinished parts in lets say 10 days, I was thinking about plating them black Zinc, but these are well underway.
Thanks for checking, Mark |

One question. The sample I had has a square punched out of it in the upper bend. I know it's the correct part as I removed it from an assembly. So what's the reason for the variation? Any speculation? I would have thought a clearance issue, and it will still work the same as the not square hole one. I thought the housing had a lip there that it pivoted on, but don't have the parts in front of me right now.

I do not think it is needed. I can chech both type housings tomorrow . I think I have seen the square hole on some. |

Mark in response to your question, one reason might be for the clearance to the tab in the access hole at the bottom of the fog lens rig. My lights are Euro Hella 118 lights and didn't have the retaining clip and to be honest, I don't see how the clip can hold the ring on ? Maybe someone can post a detailed picture of how it looks with the clip screwed in place and if there is a difference to the TN1-2 lights? Chris Attached image(s) |

Yes, these clips are necessary and really do hold the trim rings (and lens) firmly in place.
