Mark, any chance you'll make these at some point? Just received a new one from somewhere else and the quality............who am I kidding, there is no quality in the hunk I bought.

I've been asking Mark to make those for over a year. Unfortunately, it has fallen low on the priority list.

Mark -- when you're ready to make these, let me know. I bought an NOS Porsche piece that I'll loan to you for measuring, modeling, testing, etc.

I am not sure if they are the same as yours. I am also not sure how they suppose to look like, since I was missing it entirely (so I have no old one to compare to).
I did install it, I do not recall it was a low quality....

You realize you can make something functionally identical with plumbing supplies, right? It'll look vastly different, but a T and a couple of barbed fittings of the appropriate size will indeed work.

It's not that easy, because of where it fits and the parts it connects. About the only practical way to make a homemade substitute is like what is shown in Frankvw's thread above -- a short length of hose with a metal tube stuck in the side.

I don't know about you, but I'd much rather use the correct part than to bodge together a makeshift repair.

Yes, it is on the list. I had to clean up some heavy duty projects to get to it. I will do these as I too need one. The plumbing supplies can work but look pretty ghetto. This part has metal tubes that attach to vacuum lines to do it right. I will do these, but will be pretty close to March before I can have them ready. We have the WAS tops to complete 1st as well as a few interior parts.
I do my best to keep it all in the air, but when our fiberglass guy went off the reservation we had to start our own program and that is no small undertaking. We can do these well and keep the costs down, but it's a matter of getting back to it.
I apologize it's taken some time, but there is also not much demand for this part compared to others we are working on. It's not about the money, but keeping the most people happy too.

That's absurd! The hose lengths are not at all critical, so you can fit the junction anywhere you like in the engine bay. Longer hoses, some plumbing supplies, and there you go!

Note--I am not saying that this is a replacement for the original part, but it is something that should work fine until a quality replacement can be located.
