Just saw the post of the $500 new purchase and several suggestions
to obtain a factory manual. Is there a specific site to go to to order
the manual, and what is that? Help much appreciated.
Thanks

Auto Atlanta also sells a CD with the factory shop & parts manuals, plus bonus manuals, color electrical diagrams, etc. - which you can then print out yourself, or just view them digitally.

IIRC it was about $35. Not free, but it does include a lot more than just the 8 vol. repair manual.

Exploded parts diagrams are available for free through Porsche. Go to their website and hunt down "Porsche Classic". In that section you can find the parts catalog, which has the exploded diagrams in it.
