Seems that it is all in the details. I bought my '71 off of eBay. Was not too sure of it when it was delivered. Not too bad but still.....

Here are a couple of pics when received.

and here after some of the details. Painted the top back black, painted the rockers and valance, added the vinyl to the sail panels. It is all in the details (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

I now feel much better now about my "toy".

Wow!
Pretty amazing what a little work can do to a car. Looks really good. Nice color too.
Keep it up, you're doing a great job.

some people like the monochrome look.
i think both the 'before' and 'after' pictures look fine but the important thing is that it is YOUR car and you should do what you want to make YOU happy.

Car looks great!
Now some shots of the interior and engine bay.....
plus time to set the ride height lower so she doesnt have the 4x4 stance.

Ask and you shall receive (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

Here is the interior when I got the car.

No real changes to the interior. Re-did the dash and replaced the seats with stock replacements. Previous owner had changed the passanger seat to an adjustable seat.

Nothing special in the engine bay, yet (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

and, yes, I am fishing for complements (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)
