Hello - (Grüezi is swiss german)
I am from Switzerland and my biggest hobby is my porsche 914 to reconstruct and restore.
End of April I want to go with the porsche on a race track.
At the moment he is but tightly divided and in the paint.
There are still a lot of work.
Have fun with the look.

Great project ! Was the 914 originally sold in Europe or imported from the US ? And, are 914's becoming more popular than when they were originally made ?

Keep posting your progress.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

the car comes from California.
in Switzerland, there are a few converted 914. was when I school where I met someone who had so ein916 6 gt.
from there, it was a dream of mine to have a 914 and rebuild.

Nice 916-style transmission! Is that a George Vellios 915->916 conversion kit, or someone else's?
