There are some of those you are looking for offered "at home". Didn't you see them?

Aaaahhhhh......thank you.
Concerning your proposal,
most of the 6s went to the USA,
prices for Porsche cars in the USA , also for the 6s, are considered to be lower than in D.

And "Lemons" are also found in Germany.

As Gustl said, why are you looking for a damaged, rusty car in the US? It's quite expensive to import cars and the fellows abroad know the value of a real 914-6, too.
The FX rate is also bad.

He now has 2 threads going for the same WTB. Basically he just needs the vin plates which would fit inside a FedEx flat rate envelope.

Mike

that kind of purchase was possible at this side of the Atlantic, too. Somebody has offered a VIN some weeks ago for example.

As the thread starter I asked for tips concerning a 914-6 in the USA.

...and received a few promising answers with substance...and additional answers I was not looking for.

The original Craiglist posting is deleted! Has anybody some more infos about that car? Is the VIN known or is this "jalopnik"side a fun-side?
