i wondered the same thing. See post #31 <snip>I spoke with the owner, Rich at Rix 914 Parts (he's on 914World) specifically about the front valance and he assured me it was original. He showed me the two mounting holes at each end. While he has not registered his car yet I urged him to do so to help fill in the gap.</snip>http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?sho...06195&st=20 Pretty sure this is referring to Rick's Creamsicle... not the orange race car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) |

Hopefully someone can come up with some info on it. I would be interested. Jim, it looks as if it's for a wide body though. You thinking of flairing that beauty, or getting a second car? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I was thinking the same thing. Custom made valence. I was also curious about the bumper. Probably custom made as well. Overall, a good effort. It reminds me of the ones Groot used to make. (His were a little more extreme, but top quality.) Couple of links:

Looks kind of like mine
Previous owner purchased it. I believe it was an IMSA style. Autoatlanta has something similar http://www.autoatlanta.com/Porsche-Imsa-Fr...N-RMIT1402.html |

Not in my eyes. The IMSA is much larger, longer, and boxier. A very different look to me that's too big on the schnauz for a street car. (Just an opinion, don't take offense.)
The other examples follow the form of the stock shape at the top. All in the eye of the beholder though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

I've always thought it would be fun to tinker with composites, but it's a lot of work to make anything |

I've been around a long time and haven't seen one like that. So I'm gonna say custom limited edition like the 944 nose one.
