Hey guys,

A buddy came by and saw our 914-6 build and we started talking 914's. He mentioned a crazy V8 Twin Turbo 1971 914 that he has had for a few years. He brought it by the shop here to do some work to it.

I think some of you may be familiar with it...it is the same car seen on the cover of VW & Porsche in the December 1986 issue. Originally built by Jim Traverse.

The engine is a 355 Small Block with a bunch of goodies and she has been heavily modified throughout. I expected to see more of the car cut out but the rear trunk is 100% intact. You can see the front has been cut to allow for cooling with the roll cage completely integrated.

I know this isn't really a factory car but I thought you guys would enjoy seeing this!
