I bought a pair of bus heater control boxes at Okteenerfest thinking they were for a 914. I've had several people say I can use them, they just won't be correct. But when it comes down to it no one has actually done it and can explain it to me.
It seems the actuator arm is in the wrong spot. Any have experience with using them instead of 914 boxes? Attached thumbnail(s) |

You need to mod them. Cut an reweld the arm in the correct position.

It looks like a lot of work versus just buying new ones or good condition used ones.
