Hello everybody. I'm in the middle of a transaxle rebuild and my 4th gear has a "B" marked on it. I have a gear chart and that's a first gear, this for sure was in the 4th gear spot. Shouldn't it have a "V" instead? Does anyone know how many teeth are on a 4th gear so I can confirm?
Thanks. Jeff |

Should be a "V" gear, 27:25.
At least, according to Charlie Davis' page: http://members.rennlist.com/chuxter/901&915ratios.htm --DD |

Thanks DD. I'm just thinking if I have a tooth count then I'll know for sure It's a 'V" 4th gear regardless of the marking. I read that 914 gears were not marked over on Pelican.
Thanks Jeff. |

Ok, It's #25 teeth. Hence the 27:25 ratio for the gear stack. What a moron I am.
