Now that I am married, have a dog, and have aspirations to take family road trips up to San Luis Obispo in an old Porsche, I am looking for something fun with some resemblance of a back seat to replace the 914. Looks to TRADE for a running and driving 912 or a project 356 plus cash on either end depending upon condition. Heck, would even prefer if they have a VW type 1 engine in them. At this point I am not looking to sell outright.

Car started life as a black '73-1.7L. Is now a 914-6 conversion. Car has been featured in the December 2015 issue of PCA Panorama magazine, and was the only 914 included at the first Luftgekuhlt.

Conversion parts:
Factory 914-6 oil tank, AN stainless braided lines throughout, front oil cooler with custom duct that allows suitcases to be stored in the front trunk. RJ bulkhead engine mount. MSDS Ceramic Coated headers, with a SCART stainless muffler.

Engine:
RS spec 2.7L built on a 7R magnesium case. Case is completely shuffle pinned, and case-savers installed for head studs.
-Micropolished Crankshaft. Rebuilt Connecting rods with ARP rod bolts and Supertec nuts
-All new coated Mahle Clevite rod bearings. Coated main bearing and new nose bearing
-Original Mahle 2.7RS pistons with re-nikasil coated Alusil cylinders
-Dougherty reground S camshafts with Supertec rebuilt rockers and new adjusters
-Pressure Fed tensioners with new IWIS racing chains. all new sprockets
-Cleaned/rebuilt cylinder heads
-964 oil pump
~2,500 since complete rebuild. All parts from Supertec, built by myself. Expected dyno numbers with identical combination from Henry ~230 BHP.
Weber 40 IDA's completely rebuilt by Paul Abbot of performance oriented. Engine leaks NO oil at all.

Gearbox:
Completely rebuilt with CMS billet intermediate plate, new bearings, CMS Chromoly bearing retainer. Gearbox shifts wonderfully.
Rennshift w/Tangerine Racing shift linkage. at the back.

Suspension:
-Front sway bar, no rear bar. 200LB rear springs with uprated front torsion bars (not 100% on diameter)
Bilstein HD dampers all around, elephant racing front bushings, Rebel racing railing arm bushings.

Brakes/wheels:
late model 911 front struts, re-drilled rear hubs.
Front M calipers, rear stock 914 calipers. calipers have all been recently rebuilt.
15x7/8 Group4 Campagnolo wheels with new Toyo T1R tires, painted gold.

Interior:
Rennspeed perlon carpet and firewall carpet kit.
Reupholstered Scheel-mann fixed back seats in white/black houndstooth
Very Clean dash (one minor crack)
New windshield as of 2 years ago.

Body:
repainted in Toyota Voodoo Blue 3 or 4 years ago. paint is showing it's age and abuse as a daily driver. various imperfections at this point, but looks great from 2 feet away.
All new rubber seals. various mix of PORSCHE repro, and 914rubber repro seals. My car leaks substantially less water than most 914's in similar condition.

I would be happy to discuss details over the phone. PM with a request and I will send you my number.
