No fair,
You guys beat me to it. I can't wait to transform my silver street car into the flared car it wants to be. (I just need the damn wheels....) PS. My 3.2 looks very similar to the one pictured except that my air flow meter is not rotated like that. I did recently get rid of the original air cleaner and got one of the cone filters though. |

Good eye Man! I set them up that way. I just wanted to be different. I won't EVER use the jack ! So delete jack hole! I am building it to be fun not totally correct. It's a Hot Rod or Restro Mod. I think you KNOW a little about that Man (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Our race cars showed us the car likes it Too. It's a work in progress. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Is that a '73 or do you just like the 73-74 front bumperettes?
That looks like what I want to make my silver car look like. I love the cars with all the trim in tact. Not necessarily all original, but all there. (I think you know what I mean). P.S. it looks like the rear sits a little high. |

Yea, Jim I'm putenin a 3.2.
Yea, JOHNMAN it is a 73 and I have tought about taking off the bumperettes. It's a real good bumper too, I could put rounded chrome bumper bolts in the holes. It looks high cuz there aint no motor in it yet. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/wink.gif) Attached thumbnail(s) |

Don (Porsche Doc)
Just wanted to say, I love your LE's and your new project. You have now officialy become my 914 hero. Keep us all informed on progress. I personally like the 914 hot rod 914. Hopefully you will attend our Mid-West meet in Aug 5th weekend with your car. Here's a picture of Buck Tongus (Indiana) engine from a recent car show. I thinks it's a 3.2 engine? I hope Buck dosn't mind posting his picture. Tom Attached image(s) |
