...a supplier for a new set of vacuum hoses for my 1973 1.7L. Was installing new plugs yesterday and found several of the original hoses had disintegrated into hard rubber slivers. I would really like to get replacements that are color correct red and gray, but no luck on 914rubber, Pelican, and Sierra Madre. Can y'all offer any other sources? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

I do not believe the correct colors are available anywhere any more. I have seen concours cars with the hoses painted with fabric dye...

IIRC I recall him bragging that he bought the last couple of full reels. Keep in mind that although it's "new" I bet the hose is well over 20 years old. I did see some 19mm hose from CFR and it was gray, not black. |
