...a supplier for a new set of vacuum hoses for my 1973 1.7L. Was installing new plugs yesterday and found several of the original hoses had disintegrated into hard rubber slivers. I would really like to get replacements that are color correct red and gray, but no luck on 914rubber, Pelican, and Sierra Madre. Can y'all offer any other sources? " Is there any reason that cloth wrapped vacuum lines are needed rather than thick walled replacement hose?"
Just make sure you take the right type hose since some hoses that are not real vacuumhose can 'collapse' under big vacuum. Keep us updated if you find something that fits correctly and a picture how the new spaghetti looks :-) |
