76 out from under the tarp - new member intro Options

Hi, I am a new forum member who just jumped in head first into the 914 flow. Was a combination of jeffdon's willingness to pass on his '76 under a tarp' and general crazyness on my part for taking on yet another project instead of finishing what I already have going. Not sure of the plan. Initial idea was a track day car but who knows where this will go. Should be a fun learning about the 914, getting into some welding and making a big mess in the backyard. At minimum, my cat will enjoy something new to walk on plus I have already benefited by getting rid of the boat in my driveway that should not have been there in the first place. Here's a few pics..
