76 out from under the tarp - new member intro Options

Hi, I am a new forum member who just jumped in head first into the 914 flow. Was a combination of jeffdon's willingness to pass on his '76 under a tarp' and general crazyness on my part for taking on yet another project instead of finishing what I already have going. Not sure of the plan. Initial idea was a track day car but who knows where this will go. Should be a fun learning about the 914, getting into some welding and making a big mess in the backyard. At minimum, my cat will enjoy something new to walk on plus I have already benefited by getting rid of the boat in my driveway that should not have been there in the first place. Here's a few pics.. In all seriousness, you are in the right place. There are many knowledgeable people here and most are willing to help out with knowledge, time and even the occasional part.
