(IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) This next one is dedicated to you Doug...

There's nothing like a good flocking and once you flock, you just want to flock again. Imagine my excitement while cleaning up the inside of the driver's map pocket when I caressed the fuzzy remnants of some old flocking at the bottom of the box. Of course! Yes, the inside of the map pocket was lined with soft flocking. I immediately placed an ebay order. My pulse quickened when I opened the mail to find this.

I got so excited, I couldn't wait. I wanted to flock right away. There are many ways to flock. For this one, I decided to go with what is called, "The Sifter." A good flocking should be slow and gentle.

The result is oh so satisfying (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif)

I was hoping to blast bumpers and rocker covers today but when I opened the garage door, I found this Memorial Weekend tradition.

You've got some serious messed up weather there.
And I keep thinking I might want to move to Idaho or Montana some day.....

Hehehe... better. There are four people on the World who might know what that template is about. I'll give you a clue. It is related to this: (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

Mold for composite air cleaner housing?
Some sort of hammer form?

On that template that looks to be a base plate (and only if you could tolerate an outsourced part (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) ), I'd be happy to plasma cut a set for you - as well as any other bits you might need.

PM me if I can help in any way.

Back tracking a bit to the door pocket repair - I saw a you tube vid where they used paper as the reinforcement and super glue as the bonding matrix. Cut small paper patches to shape, soak in super glue and tamp into place. Multiple layers to build strength as desired. Fast strong and adaptable

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pzldxs_Z6DI

Anyone ever try it?

Oh yea, looks like a hammer buck for carb/ ITB bases. Can’t wait to see.

A plug
for Carbon Fiber Composite filter boxes, the grid paper drawing is the base plan for the carbs. The steel ruler gives the size of the pattern, the paper's grid size looks like 1/4".
Those stacked, glued boards will be contoured, finished smooth to be waxed, released and glassed to make the molds. Going to look good, perfect, with a lot of work.
