Jets in my carbs are a little fat but not by much, dropped the idles down from 55 to 52 on my Zeniths, started ok but lots of fuel smoke and you could smell it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) ,reverse solution I thought (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) .
Previously I had a minor rich condition on the idles but not by much, plug colour was just about right, ignition is a high power electronic system and timing is +/- pretty close, thing that has my lost is this was no were near to transition to mains ,which are 130 by the way.
I have upgrade 30mm vents this combo should work and carbs are reconditioned and overall it runs and starts nice....little lost on this one.
Should I increase the plug gap for a better burn (Bosch copper) or go some other direction NGK's maybe ???.
TIA
