As per title: I took the car out of the storage where it stood for 18 months (heated storage - and covered with a car tarp). The weather is perfect overhere in Europe, so time for a trip
After a quick check of the fluids, I turned the key and the engine sprung into life without any hesitation! I took the car for a spin. All is well and it runs like a Swiss watch. Today, it sailed through the (bi-annual) mandatory roadworthiness check. Time to enjoy the car. Why 18 months in hibernation? Well, I have other classic cars and these need to be drive as well. Sadly I haven't enough space around the house for all my cars. 2017 is going to be the 914 year.
