Last nite attended a Inside F1 live event in Sellersville,PA.
Sellersville? Right! Anyway F1 found it. Well attended. Sold out
show for us F1 nuts.
Learned that Lee Dif can really bust balls off the air. Mostly directed at Hobbs.
All good natured ribbing.
Mario Andretti guest of honor. Show was about 2 1/2 hours.
Cool video and pics on large screen.
A good time. Discussed Macca (McLaren) not well there at all.
Maybe some trouble in the Kingdom of Mercedes as well.
Ferrari on track for some good showings fer sure.
Cheers, Dion

I heard them advertising that- wonder why it was in PA? If anywhere close, I would have hit that for sure...
Hobbs is a great guy- he was grand marshall at June Sprints a couple years ago- my son made the podium in his race so we had a chance to chat.
When I first started going to Road America back in the late '60's with my dad, Hobbs was his favourite.
Would be fun to hear what they say that they can't say on TV!

A buddy of mine found out about it while attending a concert at the theatre.
It holds about 325 peeps. Sold out. Merchandise sold in the lobby
went to a charity for Justin Wilson's children. They said they do a few shows a year.
Not sure how they found us in PA? Guess they liked a smaller venue than Pittsburgh or
Philly. I'd attend another for sure. Introduced their stat guy too. Amazing computer
set up & monitors pulling up times/splits, strategies. Very cool stuff. I can't recall his name, none the less , important for the broadcast guys especially Matchett.

Though the racing doesn't have much passing, I do enjoy hearing the commentary from Hobbs and Matchett. They obviously know what they're talking about.

Seriously doubt it will be shown, other than a "bootleg" vid.
Tickets weren't that cheap. Guys are earning their living. Fun as it is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
They discussed the difficulties in passing. Tweaking for the different
Tracks. The huge wings are still generating a lot of turbulence.
Good thing the tyres grew. I think it was a 25% increase in grip levels.
Braking was mind blowing on some of the vids. Breaking past the
100 meter mark at Barcelona's turn one.
