Another member posted a pic of this badge asking about availability, then a few days later it popped up on my evil-bay 914 Parts search email, so I got one & it looks very nice & is a heavy casting about 3" diameter.
No affiliation, but I wanted to have mine in had to see it, before recommending it here. About $55 with shipping to the USA from Germany. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-914-Badge-...8-/182508278145? You may want to add some clear or black nylon washers between the badge/screw/nut & your grill to avoid scratching, or perhaps substitute the Porsche all black rubber or rubber+metal Speed Nuts as used on the grill letters, 914, 1.7, 1.8, 2.0 & Porsche Crest Badges. And yes, there are 914world badges at 914Rubber, old used & NOS 914Club badges which come up for sale occasionally - usually at higher cost, & maybe others made by other members & vendors (Johannes??).
I prefer the design of this one, & the use of the actual 914 font/script, & that it's new/fresh for a reasonable price. So before the "Member Defense Weenies" on here try to pile on, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) .... I did contact this seller & suggest that he join as a member & sell his items on here. Maybe then you industrious ones can see about a GB!? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) So let's not have the Trolls make this into a "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished" thing! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Cheers! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Tom /////// |
