Just heard there's a Hooters now open on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. Two more are planned, one in San Jose and one in Dublin.
So there's one less reason to leave this place, ha! |

Heard it on the radio on the way home tonight. Never been to one. 914 Roadtrip? I can see myself telling the wife, "but everybody's going to be there!"

Yeah, my girlfriend asked me why I met Brad at Hooters when he came to Seattle. I just gave her the "huh" look, she said oh, I see, you are going to just sit and talk about cars while beautiful women serve you beer and food.
Yep, prefect day that it was..... Geoff |

Hell I would have trouble reading it, let along trying to order. Oh, and the guilt telling the wifey where I went. I wonder what time do they open?. Could we have a 914 Breakfast there? 9:14 breakfast at Hooters, yeah I can just see it... "I'll have mine over easy"
My wife and I are implants from the Clearwater, Florida area; birthplace of the Hooters chain. I can get her to come along just for nostalgia, ha! |

Of course..... you can do what I did, divorce the wife, buy a teener, and go to Hooters twice a week.
It's really not that bad..... I bring my daughter there all the time (just not on Friday or Sat night). Plus, I must admit, a classic Porsche, and a 7 year old kid get a lot af "attention"..... this is a good thing. Ahh yes.. nothing better that devouring a plate of 911 wings, an MGD, and driving home with your stomach cramping like you'r about to give birth--LOL God bless Hooters (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) |

The picture of the six hooters and the yellow 914 is the infamous "Turbo". Guy in the picture is Mark Litherland from Georgia who bought the car from Sammy Gore from out here.
Bummer, no picts of me or my car w/ the girls... sm |

How do you get Hooters to put up your picture? You don't ask, you just wait for all the waitresses and management looking people to go downstairs, then whip out the screwdriver...
Hmmm. Same guy as above, no ears. Hmmm, trouble-maker... Newport Beach, second floor, overlooking parking lot... (IMG:http://www.nosubstitute.org/events/Sammy2Dec00/H5.JPG) |
