Some weeks I can drive 4 days a tank. My odometer doesn't work. Other weeks I can drive 8 days on a tank. My mileage per week does not vary that much.

Things I am considering that may affect it:
- Electrical; the lights have been off more sense spring is here.
- Maybe the fuel injection works better with the correct amount of juice?
- Maybe the alternator is causing more drag?
- Cold weather is going away.
- Some other lurking variable?

Does anybody else have this problem?

DJET, LJET or carbs?

If it is DJET maybe your MPS is on it's last legs. Check brad anders page for testing procedures.

faulty head temp sensor can give poor mileage also. sounds kind of extreme, 4 days driving verses 8, 2:1 ratio!

About how many miles driven per day? figure a 15 gallon tank, and you dhould be able to get a mileage reading.
